Vulvarock is a unique term to describe the sound of the Vienna-based band: raw punk meets heavy metal and high energy rock ‘n’ roll. The songs are energetic, dramatic, but most of all: empowering. They tell of parties, intoxication, and harassment. Of lovers, myths, and magic; of power and powerlessness. Vulvarine’s music uncovers the blacks, whites, and greys of life, while never taking it all too seriously.
Since the release of their debut album „Unleashed“ (2020), the band has been touring national and international club and festival stages all over Europe and supported bands like Thundermother (SWE), The Baboon Show (SWE), Exciter (CAN) and The Bar Stool Preachers (UK). The new EP „Witches Brew“ releases on October 20, 2023.

Vulvarock ist ein einzigartiger Begriff, um den Sound der Wiener Band zu beschreiben: Roher Punk gesellt sich zu Heavy-Metal und High-Energy-Rock’n’Roll. Die Songs sind energiegeladen, dramatisch, aber vor allem eines: empowering. Sie erzählen von Partys, Rausch und Grenzüberschreitung. Von Liebhaber_innen, Mythen und Magie; von Kraft und Kraftlosigkeit. Vulvarines Musik enthüllt die schwarzen, weißen und grauen Seiten des Lebens, ohne es dabei allzu ernst zu nehmen.
Seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums „Unleashed“ (2020) ist die Band auf nationalen wie internationalen Club- und Festivalbühnen in ganz Europa unterwegs. Im Zuge dessen spielten sie als Support für Thundermother (SWE), The Baboon Show (SWE), Exciter (CAN) und The Bar Stool Preachers (UK). Im Frühjahr 2025 sind sie für einen ganzen Monat mit Thundermother unterwegs. Die neuste EP „Witches Brew“ erschien am 20. Oktober 2023.
